Western Kingbird Sighting
You have all heard me repeatedly marvel at our access to the great outdoors, the waterway, the national and state forest, then turn around and post photos of and tell of our discoveries right in town. Patty got word of sightings of the Western Kingbird around Clay Point Park in Biloxi, so Thursday morning we headed over to our frequent haunt, Back Bay Blvd and sure enough, near the old Presto factory and the Pelican Point Marina, we found the Western Kingbird. So much of this area is vacant lots following the devastation of Katrina of August/September 2005.
From Clay Point Park we visited the Drain Pipe and stopped at Riverside Park on Tchoutacabouffa River, and no, I still can pronounce it!
Yes’m, old friends is always best, ‘less you can catch a new one that’s fit to make an old one out of.
