Fishing on the Bird Barge
My friends Byron, Ray, and Mike took the Bird Barge out for a beautiful day fishing the Mississippi Sound. We launched at 0600 from the Biloxi Harbor boat ramp and headed east into a beautiful sunrise. We fished four or five of the Ramsay’s Hotspots filling a cooler with White Trout (Sand Trout) releasing a bunch of catfish and Michael seemed pretty good at bringing oyster shells aboard; must be from his years of oyster farming!
A perfect fishing day isn’t defined by a full cooler,
but by the memories made while the line is in the water.

“One thing becomes clearer as one gets older… and that is the paramount importance of one’s fishing companions.”
John Ashley-Cooper

Looks like a grand time for everyone! Except the fish…
True in both cases!
