Unexpected Visitor

We have had a lot of cardinals around our birdfeeders lately, and I hoped to get a few close-ups. We have a bunch of Indian shot, canna lilies growing behind the bird feeder and I set my tripod and camera up just to the side under the porch of our outbuilding.

Well, I had an unexpected visitor—a beautiful one: a hummingbird feeding on the Indian shot blooms. There were a few other birds, and I may post a separate album, but this one is focused on this very busy and perfect hummingbird.
