In Search of a Common Goldeneye
Patty heard from birding friend, Steve, that he had seen a Common Goldeneye in Biloxi Back Bay near the Drain Pipe, so we headed to Biloxi on Friday morning. As hard as Patty searched, no Goldeneye, but there were plenty of the regulars. There must have been runs of mullet in the little cove off Biloxi Back Bay; there was an unusual amount of Osprey hunting in the little cove. Each image is identified.
I had said in a previous post that we would be birding Seamans Lagoons. Change of plans: Patty is at Seamans Lagoons, and I am headed to Ray’s to help slice up 8 pork bellies into piles of bacon. I will post the bacon pictures later this weekend.
