Seeking birds in Biloxi
Patty heard there was a Clay-Colored Sparrow sighted at South Clay Point Park, so yesterday morning, we headed across the bay and down Back Bay Blvd. It was a gorgeous Fall Mississippi Coast morning, with lots of birds but no Clay-Colored Sparrow.
We also stopped by the Drain Pipe to find an abundance of Snowy Egrets, White Ibises, Laughing Gulls, and other waterfowl. We call it the Drain Pipe because it is a drain pipe coming out of a shrimp factory into the bay. The waterfowl have learned that when the shrimp are being processed, they get a free meal!

All the sparrows are confusing to me. Nice pictures.
