First week of October and signs of Fall

Ready for Fall and a bit of Rain

Patty is home, and Holly Berry, her dog companion, is so pleased! While getting settled, we have not done a great deal of exploring. We checked out Clower Thorton Park in Gulfport the other morning, and Jones Park while we were there. Yesterday morning, after breakfast at Phoenicia’s Restaurant, we headed out to Ward Bayou, which was very quiet but is always a pleasant drive through the woods.

Like the photo with the three nesting holes in the tree and the woodpecker. 😊

  2. Two Red-bellied woodpeckers were working on that old tree!
