Sunrise & Breakfast at Phoenicia’s
The kids and I headed to Phoenicia restaurant in downtown Ocean Springs for breakfast this morning. I really like their pancakes and bacon. It was too early to arrive, so we pulled underneath the Ocen Spring bridge, which is often a pretty spot to greet the sun rising above Old Fort Bayou and see it reflect off the beautiful home west of the bridge.
Breakfast was great; the kids enjoyed time with Lauren, our regular waitress.
I spoke with Patty on the drive home. She and her travel companions are headed to San Pedro, in the Mexican state of Nayarit, today, with a stopover tonight in the town of Tequila. Yes, it really is the name of the town, and yes, I suspect they will partake.
